Day 14

Spring Snow! Here we are in flagstaff for my husbands company meeting! They thought that this would be a great time of the year! Well mother nature had other ideas. So far the roads are open but not going north. He is in a meeting and i am walking around. Not really dressed for the snow but warm enough. Snow is always pretty it makes everything clean, then in a few days dirty piles of snow everywhere. I don't think that the snow will be around a long time, a few days of arizona sun and warmth and it will be gone. The kids are at home which is the opposite, she goes to school up here and he didn't want to come up and hang out in an hotel room so she went down to stay and hang with him. What are sisters for. Day 13

Well it has been awhile since i put on a picture. But a lot has gone on, we had spring break last week the week before my daughters car was in the shop so on Thursday before spring break I went to flagstaff to pick her up in the afternoon. So needless to say I have been a little busy. We didn't do a whole lot during the week but we did stay busy and it went fast. My daughter wanted to make Shamrock cupcakes for St. Patrick's Day from scratch no less, this is how it turned out. Don't ask me what happenend, the only thing I can think of was that the green dye was really old. Not a clue! So I said lets make them from the box and bought new food coloring and wala it worked. Day 12

Here is the other picture that I said that I would send. Now remember how big the tires were. I was told that these trucks hold 1200 gallons of diesel fuel, can you imagine filling that up. I was way up above this hole where they are get the rocks from everything looked like matchbox size if not smaller.

Day 11

Well on Saturday I went with a friend who was invited to go to a mine on a tour. Well since I have lived in this area for more then 30 years I thought I have always wanted to go. This mine has been in opperation since 1890? My step dad worked there over 30 years ago for a time it was 1 1/2 hour a day drive. This mine produce's copper. The trucks are huge. This is a picture of a tire see size compared to a regular shovel? Wow. Tomorrow's post will be the truck picture, they are amazing.

Day 10

So well I am trying to get some stuff done on the computer and look I have a visitor. She just walks across the keyboard and this is what she does. fdafjdlksajasgif-disdahghjolkpfjdsakdaso9=ewmv then she sits for a second and then instead of leaving why not just lay down... Come on lets make our-self comfortable. Gee what was I thinking, my kids don't really want to sit on my lap when I am on the computer anymore, the dogs ignore me when I am sitting here, but oh no not the cat-lets just barge in. So we got the camera and took her picture then she got up and walked away. The life of a cat.

Day 9

Well today was an errand day also a day that I started on two not one, but two No Sew Quilts. I am making them for my mother, who has a neighbor that is moving and she wanted to give them something and this is what she came up with of course with my help...

Day 8

I read a blog today about water bottles, and wow I guess from what this person wrote we would never want to drink from water bottles again. It is kind of scary what they say they do and what is actual done. I also watched a video one time on how they prepare our meat and take care of the animals that we eat. Yuck... It is kinda sad the way the market has turned from making clean good food to making the animals bigger so you can just make more money. Well I can tell you that is wrong. But someday I want to buy my own beef from farmers that care for the animals and the people they sell to, like not putting hormones in the beef and just farm raising them. We have chicken's we don't have like we used to. In the last year we have lost 10 chickens and duck's to coyotes getting in the pen's. How they do it, it amazes me. Now we have to block a 10x10 hole that the chicken's use to get in their house at night, to keep out the critters. We even have a fence over the top. Go figure. So we do get farm fresh eggs. Yum Yum.

Day 7

Well I didn't do to much today. Nothing really special just the normal mother & housewife duties. So I took this picture when my daughter and I was out during the weekend, so I thought I would use it. Have you ever wondered when you saw and old car, old license plates that you wondered where has that car been and what was the person like that drove it. This is just a bench with the plates behind it, so I can see people sitting there talking about the different plates and states and what the car looked like and so on. So what do you think of when you see a different plate?

Day 6

What a day, you wake up and the ground is just covered with snow. Everything is white and clean and perfect. You don't see dirt, mud or anything that is imperfect. I think that God lets it snow so that we can realize how perfect, clean and pure really is. Like our hearts toward others should be. But let me tell you by the afternoon it is all melting. Not a good thing, now we have mud... Yuck.

Day 5

My daughter had to do an assignment for her photo class at her college. She came down for the weekend and we went and walked around prescott. It is kind of funny but we think alot about the same pictures and the same angles, of course she is better then me. But of course I taught her everything she knows and not the teachers that we are spending countless money on every year.(just kidding) Haha... So we walked around an alley in prescott and this is the picture that I got. It was cold and windy, dark and gloomy. But being with my daughter doing something that we both love and have in common is priceless, wouldn't change it for the world. Thanks Toya you are special....

Day 4

Ok well today I am posting a picture of what I bought at the grocery store today. I go to a website where she does all the leg work on where the sales are and what coupons we should have and if we don't you can print them from her website. This is a great tool, I could possibly do it with out her but why. It cost me 10.00 for 3 months and well worth it. Today I stopped at Fry's two times and the first time I spent .86 cents and saved 96% and the second time I spent 5.52 and saved a total of 86%. As you can see in the picture this is what I bought. First stop bought 15 items second stop 12 items. With the use of coupons and store sales, this is great deals.... In the picture you cant see but under the cereal I also bought two things of Hefty freezer bags. So of course after I spent the .86 I had to call my daughter and tell her. This is fun and sometimes turns into a challenge. My son gets in the car and looks at the receipt and says what that is all you spent, how dare you ! jk. So today I did errands and spent a total of 6.38 at the grocery store. Not bad for a Friday.

Day 3

Well this is going pretty good. I am finding things to take a picture here at the house first, and then I will start on some other things I can find. This is of the cat, she is like the little dog if I can find a place in the sun to sleep or sun bath I will do it in a heartbeat. She is 13 years old, and loves when the greenhouse door is open to the bedroom because she can just go in there when it is a little cool outside and just sleep the day away. She loves it in the in the summer to, but we have to watch her because if we shut the door in the summer it will get to hot in there for her. She really believes that she has nine lives.

Day 2

Well this is a photo of our 6 year old hound. He for one thing, thinks that he is a lap dog and that he can fit anyplace a small animal can lay. So this is his favorite chair. He loves to sleep in it, but sometimes the small dog will bark and he will run outside and then she will come in and jump in the chair. And when he comes in I am sure she is thinking hahaha.. Just like siblings.

Day 1

Here it goes, I saw a fun thing on facebook where people were doing 30 days of photo's. So I thought what the heck, I am going to do 30 day photo fun on blogger or blogging. This will be interesting. I have a little camera right now but someday soon I hope to have a bigger one, that takes better and more advanced pictures. I love to take pictures, so we will see what I come up with. I am a stay at home mom, with a student in high school and one in college. So this will be a mixture of pictures. So here it goes this is today's picture of our 1 year old daushand laying on the table to get the warm sun from the window, but what you don't know is on the floor is just as much sun if not more. So I tell her to get down, and this is the look I get.
